Privacy Policy

Three categories, and nothing outside them.

• Account data — your name, email address and a hash of your password. The password itself is never stored.
• Profile data — college, degree, branch, graduation year, city, target roles, interests and experience level. All of it optional, and all of it supplied by you.
• Product data — resumes you upload, job descriptions you paste, job targets you save, learning paths, quiz results, verified skills and a record of your activity across both products.

We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and there is no advertising identifier. We do not log request bodies, which means the contents of your resume do not appear in our server logs. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, in any form.

This is the most important section on the page. To analyse and rewrite a resume, its text is sent to a third-party large language model provider. That is how the product works and there is no version of it that does not do this.

The provider processes the text to return a result and, under the API terms we operate under, does not use it to train models. Even so: if you are not comfortable with your resume text leaving this service, do not upload it. That is a reasonable position and we would rather say so plainly than bury it.

Video recommendations query the YouTube Data API using the topic you typed. Your identity is not sent with that query.

Uploaded resume files and their extracted metadata are deleted 7 days after upload. Everything else — your account, profile, saved targets, learning paths, quiz history and verified skills — is kept until you delete it or close your account.

You can export everything we hold about you as a single JSON file, at any time, from Account settings → Your data. You can delete your account from the same page; that removes your account, profile, verified skills, job targets and activity immediately and cascades to your learning paths and quiz history.

One limitation, stated rather than hidden: resume files already uploaded are removed by the 7-day expiry at the latest, not necessarily at the instant you press delete. For anything else, write to privacy@growahead.in.

This service is intended for college students and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with data you have already given us, we will say so rather than quietly re-dating the page. Questions, requests and complaints go to privacy@growahead.in, addressed to the Grievance Officer.
